This is our current work and pieces of our thoughts. We live in Tulsa, Oklahoma but are well travelled and will go anywhere you want to take us. Our new blog will be ready in just a few weeks! We'll leave this one up for a bit with a link to it since nothing can transfer over - boo hoo! If there's a favorite post in here you want us to repost in the new blog, drop me a line or ring me and I'll move it over when the time is here.

Spring Love!

We had such a great time with Keli and John this past Sunday! The June bride - Keli is the quintessential Ivory girl, which is what we all wanted to be in the 70's and still do today! Beautiful. I've got a bunch of "camera shy" grooms this spring - I don't get it - why wouldn't you want your photograph taken if you looked like this? Can't wait for these weddings!

Engagement shoot Today

We had such beautiful weather today! I had an engagement shoot with a couple whom I had never met before today. I had a blast. I can't wait to shoot their wedding - they're really fun and so cute with each other. Thanks so much for a fun, fun afternoon, Greg and Nicole!

Workshop in Phoenix

I went to a wonderful photography workshop this February in Phoenix - Anthem, actually, hosted by award-winning photographer Michele Celentano. It was nice to get out of here just when the ice flurries kicked in! Of course I ran down a sushi bar and met several other photographers all working to improve their craft just like me! We had a "model couple" and got some practice shooting in several different situations - it was great. Here's a few pics.'

Power Outage in my own backyard!

Last Saturday morning, some weekend warrior neighbor of ours with a 6-pack and chainsaw toppled a tree over onto the power lines and snapping the pole off at the top. We had no power all day and up until around 11:30 p.m. The pole was in the ravine behind my house and not the easiest place to get to but the PSO power guys were awesome. I came home and they were surrounding my house with trucks and lights - it was pretty neat. I just had to take some photos. No tripod on me - thank goodness I had my IS 70-200 though!

Sunset in Anthem

We were losing our natural light but the sky was so beautiful - the pink and orange - reminded me of home.
